Here, authors will:
- provide tips on how to use the sector file;
- describe the contents of the repository;
- explain how (and why) our files are formatted in the way they are - bear in mind that this might be more of an attempt to describe why the formatting is done in such ways... sometimes it's just because it is!;
- provide step-by-step guides to creating new features (e.g. an SMR).
See the sidebar for links to pages to get you started!
The EuroScope Wiki contains some information about:
- the contents (and format) of ESE files;
- the definition of positions (same page);
- the definition of sectorlines and sectors (same page).
Over the coming weeks and months, this Wiki will elaborate on the contents of the ESE and how the UK uses/adds elements not described on the EuroScope Wiki, in addition to a comprehensive guide to the files that make up our SCT file. In the meantime, if you require any support, our Discord channel ('#sector-file-development') is the best place to find assistance!
