We are proud to announce the release of VFB 2.1 beta.

Highlights include:

  • A new interface redesigned to improve usability, based on user-testing feedback.
  • Integrated queries for transgenes - query by image (NBLAST) or by annotation - including annotation of split expression.
  • 37 different image datasets with > 47,000 images including images of larval EM neurons and split-GAL4 expression patterns.
  • All images are available for download with open licences.
