I think this makes the plot a bit too crowded (and is also not immediately obvious what which line means), so I would not be in favor of adding this (unless there is a good argument, did you miss having a visual average frequently?)

Yeah, I would only do this if it were an onclick or onhover expansion with more details or something. I would also only install those handlers after the benchmark finishes because I have a feeling people will use it while the benchmark is still running and screw up the results.
