Modernize UI and improve dark mode toggle

This PR improves the UI in several ways:

1. Modernized mode toggles:

   • Added Material Icons for better visual feedback
   • Dynamic text that changes based on state
   • Consistent button styling
   • Better hover effects

2. Improved header layout:

   • Mode toggles moved to top right
   • Responsive design that adapts to screen size
   • Better spacing and alignment

3. Enhanced dark mode:

   • Better toggle states
   • More intuitive icons (sun/moon)
   • Improved contrast

4. Added touch mode improvements:

   • Better touch mode indicator
   • Clear mouse/touch mode toggle
   • Improved touch targets

5. General improvements:

   • More consistent spacing
   • Better visual hierarchy
   • Enhanced accessibility
   • Smoother transitions
