🌌 AetherTalk

Chat with the cosmos, one AI at a time.

AetherTalk isn't just another chat interface – it's your portal to the AI universe. Sleek, smart, and ready to blow your mind, AetherTalk lets you converse with cutting-edge language models right from your local machine. No cloud necessary, just pure, unadulterated AI goodness.

✨ Why AetherTalk?

  • 🎨 Switches between dark and light mode faster than you can say "AI"
  • 💅 Markdown support that makes your conversations look prettier than a sunset
  • 🧹 Clear chat feature for when things get too deep (or embarrassing)
  • 🔌 Connects to your LM Studio server like they were made for each other
  • 📱 Looks good on everything from your phone to your ultrawide monitor

🚀 Getting Started

Prerequisites

  • LM Studio running and ready to party (Startup server mode, ensure CORS is ON, load a Large Language model and an embedding model, and you're ready to go, easy as 1 2 3!)
  • A web browser (preferably from this century)
  • Basic knowledge of the command line (don't worry, we'll be gentle)

Quick Start

  1. Clone this bad boy:
    git clone https://github.com/YorkieDev/AetherTalk

  2. Slide into the project directory:
    cd AetherTalk

  3. Open index.html in your browser and watch the magic happen!

🛠 Customization

Want to make AetherTalk truly yours? Dive into script.js and tweak:

  • Server URL (in case your AI lives somewhere exotic)
  • API key (for those fancy, exclusive AIs)
  • Model name (because your AI deserves a cool name too)
  • System message (set the mood for your AI conversations)

🤝 Contributing

Got ideas? We love ideas! Here's how to share yours:

  1. Fork it like there's no tomorrow
  2. Create a new branch: git checkout -b my-cool-feature
  3. Commit your changes: git commit -am 'Added some coolness'
  4. Push to the branch: git push origin my-cool-feature
  5. Submit a pull request and let's make magic together!
