The stigma and limited access to mental healthcare services amongst Africans have led to a rise in mental health problems, such as depression, anxiety, stress and addiction amongst different social groups. Despite the increased number of people struggling with mental health, very few have tried to access resources or help. There is a need to make mental healthcare resources and support more convenient and affordable for more people to access.
Aura is a mobile application that offers a wide range of affordable mental healthcare support services, e.g. counselling, community, a chatbot and access to self-help resources.
