neighbourhood

The scope of an LTN. It fits within a study area. A neighbourhood includes edits from the user.

project

A collection of neighbourhoods. It is tied to a single study area.

study area

Geographic bounds, typically "city sized" or a segment of a larger city. A user's project will pick a single study area, and contain potentially many neighbourhoods within the study area.
