Releases: aarondraczynski/revolver
1.1.1 Abbott
Revolver 1.1.1 fixes a client compatibility issue with OS X Mavericks.
1.1 Hastings
Revolver 1.1 introduces a new visual style for embedded content in chat that's easier to read, as well as some new functionality:
-
Twitter
Paste a tweet URL into chat and you'll see a rich embed including conversation history, inline photos, and number of retweets/favorites.
-
YouTube
Someone posted a YouTube video in chat, but is it worth watching right now? You be the judge with enhanced details including video length and number of likes/dislikes.
-
Spotify
When a Spotify track ID is shared in chat, you'll see album art, artist and song info, and a link to start playing the song in your Spotify desktop client.
-
Revolver DJ
Turn on the new DJ feature and collaboratively decide what song should play next for your team. Override someone else's song choice if it sucks. With DJ mode activated, you choose what track everyone hears next in Spotify.
Some backend optimizations have been made as well: new filesystem structure for script storage, added a setting to defer script execution in client payload, updated Composer stability level to stable, and added meta robots to the Web Companion frontend to prevent search engine indexing.
1.0 Cambie
Initial version of Revolver, first released on June 4th, 2013.
