Sauron Key for MVSX, ASP, and CRS (RetroArch) 20240126
This is Sauron Key for MVSX, ASP, and CRS (RetroArch)
Installation
- You need to have a MVSX, ASP, or CRS with support for
boot-usb.sh
installed (e.g. hylo or 0xdead Beef system update launcher) - Uncompress the zip file and copy the contents to a USB.
- Copy your roms to the corresponding roms folder (e.g. roms/neogeo)
- Copy your bios files to the bios folder
- Insert the USB on your USB and boot
Known issues
- Integer scaling is not perfect, depends on the original game resolution it may work better or worse than non-integer scaling
- Overlay notifications (e.g. FPS) are not properly positioned while using integer scaling
- Sometimes audio will stop if you access the menu during a game. In those cases, just restart retroarch
- There's no MVSX native volume control, but you can control volume with OPTIONS + 2P UP/DOWN.
Important paths:
- USB is mounted as /userdata
- HOME is /userdata/system
- Cores are in /userdata/cores
- video_filters are located in /usr/share/video_filters
- audio_filters are located in /usr/share/audio_filters
