Minimum OS levels for AdoptOpenJDK binaries

(Related issue for this page: https://github.com/AdoptOpenJDK/openjdk-website/issues/161)

Currently these will be based on the levels we build on, and can be expanded with alternative distributions etc. as we perform more testing and have the information. In addition, minimum compiler levels for JNI libraries should be specified (Still todo!)

  • Linux/x86 - RHEL/CentOS 6.9
  • Linux/s390x - RHEL 7.4
  • Linux/aarch64 - RHEL/CentOS 7.4
  • Linux/ppcle - RHEL/CentOS 7.4
  • AIX 7.1TL04 and above (builds may work on TL03, but not TL02)
  • SmartOS 14.1
  • FreeBSD 11.0
  • Windows 2008R2 / Windows 7
