WordCamp.org

WordCamp.org is a platform for managing WordCamp conferences and WordPress meetup events. It provides a website for every WordCamp, with tools for creating public-facing content and managing event logistics.

The platform also includes tools for program volunteers and administrators to manage logistics for the program itself.

Setup

There are two primary ways to setup this repo for local development.

  1. Using VVV for installing as WordCamp.org as a part of WordPress.org meta network.

  2. Using Docker for a standalone WordCamp.org installation.

Support

If you have a question about using your site, or contributing to the platform, please email [email protected] or join the #meta-wordcamp channel in the official WordPress Slack workspace.

Bugs & Feature Requests

We encourage community members and organizers to open issues for bugs & feature requests. We go through and prioritize issues at least once a month. We also have a monthly meeting where we discuss current tickets, patches, and PRs. This usually happens on the third Thursday of the month, you can watch for announcements on the make.wordpress.org/meta blog.

Security

Please report security vulnerabilities via our HackerOne bounty program.

License

All code is licensed under the GPL v2 or later, unless otherwise stated.
