GRTensorIII

About

GRTensorIII is an add-on package for the Maple computer algebra system.
It:

  • performs component and basis calculations for General Relativity
  • defines a large number of standard tensor, basis and NP objects
  • allows new objects to be defined and calculated
  • is used to calculate objects of interest in specific spacetimes
  • allows the entry of new spacetimes in tensor or basis form interactively
  • is intended to work on all platforms (PC, Mac or Linux)
  • has been validated on Mac (ElCap/Sierra) and Linux (Ubuntu 14.04) using Maple 2015 to 2019
