Here's how to use this bot in the Discord server.
- Bot Name: obs-hub-control
- Channel: #obs-hub-control
You can only interact with the bot in the designated channel.
Most of the time, you will interact by clicking on the bot's UI, but there are also some slash commands.
- Blue buttons affect the preview scene
- Red buttons affect the program scene
Preview Scene Up | Preview Scene Down | Timetable Manual Retract | Timetable Manual Advance |
Set dB of media source in preview scene to specified value |
Play/pause preview media | Reload preview media | Autoscale/center preview media | Lower preview media volume by 0.5 dB | Raise preview media volume by 0.5 dB |
Not implemented |
Play/pause program media (you should never need this) | Reload program media (hope you should never need this) | Trigger Automated Transition | Lower program media volume by 0.5 db | Raise program media volume by 0.5 dB |
This is what you're here for.
- All sources other than the current playing source in the program scene and Master should be muted and at 100% volume
- Set the preview dB to the desired target volume (usually at a level where it peaks at -20 dB on AniCLover's setup)
-
Transition Target Volume
will be automatically updated to be the preview dB - Click
- Audio will begin crossfading between the program and preview scene right away*
- After a delay of
Transition Visual Delay
, OBS scene transition will start and timetable advance will be triggered. If the preview media is local (e.g. a recording), it will begin playing when the OBS transition is triggered.
[*] "Crossfade" means the preview volume will go to 0%, unmute, and then gradually increase to Transition Target Volume
while the program volume simultaneously goes to 0% over a duration of Transition Crossfade
. After this is complete, the new preview source will be muted and brought back to 100% volume.
