IntervalWindow is put into HashMaps and get hashed a lot. This change caches the computed hashCode.

Summary of Changes

Hello @arunpandianp, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request focuses on optimizing the IntervalWindow class by implementing a lazy caching strategy for its hashCode method. This enhancement is particularly beneficial in scenarios where IntervalWindow objects are frequently used in hash-based data structures, as it aims to reduce computational overhead and improve overall application performance by avoiding repeated hash code calculations.

Highlights

  • Performance Optimization: Introduced a caching mechanism for the hashCode computation within the IntervalWindow class to reduce redundant calculations.
  • CPU Usage Reduction: The change is expected to significantly decrease CPU usage related to hashCode calls, as demonstrated by a reduction from 0.85% to 0.07% in profiling.
  • Lazy Initialization: The hashCode is now computed and stored only on its first invocation, improving efficiency for IntervalWindow objects that are not frequently hashed.
