Here follows the planning of the different 4.x.y releases:

  • 4.1.0-RC was released on 10/06/2014
  • 4.1.0 was released on 23/07/2014
  • 4.2.0-RC was released on 15/09/2014
  • 4.2.0 is scheduled to be released on 13/10/2014
  • 4.3.0-RC and 4.3.0 are yet to be planned

Scope of each release is defined as follows:

4.1.0

  • Validation with warnings
  • Make ASiC-S signature handling multiple signatures
  • Make ASiC-S containers compatible with CAdES signature
  • Support of ASiC-E (part 1)
  • Java 1.7 compatibility
  • Parallelise information search to improve performance
  • Manage the scope of signatures
  • Support plain signatures
  • Correct the validation of the signatures with the archive timestamp using the link to the TSL

4.2.0

  • Add some dynamic signing parameters:
    • Choice of timestamp algorithm
    • From ASiC plugtest: Mime-type file: to be defined within the signing parameters
    • From ASiC plugtest: Mime-type using magic numbers: to be defined within the signing parameters
    • Timestamp canonicalisation method
    • Timestamp digest method
    • XAdES: Add the location of the envelopped signature (XPath)
  • Support of ASiC-E (part 2)
  • from CAdES plugtest: correct the issue detected with ordering of timestamps
  • from CAdES plugtest: support content timestamps
  • from CAdES plugtest: support countersignatures
  • When retrieving CRL for the given certification, more than one URLs can be present, SD-DSS uses only the first one
  • Use the latest release of MOCCA

4.3.0

  • Lower log level in library modules
  • Dependency optimization
  • Better handling of NextUpdate for TSL and CRL with cache system
  • During the signature creation process, the trust anchor must be used to decide if it should be included in the signature of not
  • XAdES: Schema validation
