This is the first release candidate for CWEB 4.0. Major features:

  • Incorporates all patches and the complete ANSI-C changes from CWEBbin.
  • Uses common.h in all three *.w sources, including common.w itself.
  • Fixes numerous bugs reported over the years
  • Compiles without any warnings with gcc and llvm
  • Will be the foundation for CWEBbin 2021
