The Budget Tracker app is a mobile web application where you can manage your budget: you have a list of transactions associated with a category, so that you can see how much money you spent and on what.
- Register and log in, so that the data is private to the user
- Create a new category of expenses
- Introduce new transactions associated with a category
- See the money spent on each category

To get a local copy up and running follow these simple example steps.
In order to run this project you need:
- Install ruby on your computer or run it with docker
- Have rails installed on your computer
Clone this repository by using the command line :
git clone https://github.com/asharanjith/Food-planner.git
Install this project with:
bundle install
Setup database using
rails db:create rails db: migrate
To run the project, execute the following command:
rails s
To run tests, execute the following command:
rspec spec
NB: You need to create an env
file for your database credentials
