Hi, I am not sure your original idea and I am not very familiar with Python module exports and imports. But with current python version, some of your original import ways do not work if the project is import as a module. So, I changed some of the internal import way into lib import way. I have tested in the your example file and my own project.
BTW, thanks for your contribution. Love this project.
