Very cool game, it would be awesome to make it more readily available to Ubuntu users. I would be happy to continue to maintain the snap packaging if you choose to publish this in the snap store. If not, I'd be happy to maintain the snap in the store as well.

Sorry for the delayed response - I've been mulling this over a bit and I'm not quite sure how I feel about publishing a snap right now.

One large concern that I had was opening myself up to considering the appearance on multiple platforms and fielding issues that might ensue. However once I resolve #15 this concern should largely disappear.

The other side of this is considering the future of the elementary OS "AppCenter for Everyone" initiative, which partially results in easier access to first-party elementary apps on other platforms (this is partially complete as evidenced by #13, which makes it all very simple - granted not as simple as downloading from the Snap Store). However, future plans include integrating with a portal that will allow payments from other platforms as well (obviously still no obligation), and while I'm not personally developing with the sole intention to make money, I do like the fact that the elementary team benefits from any payments as well. Basically since this app is primarily targeting elementary OS, I'd really like to align with the future of the platform.

I'm going to leave this open for now because I'm still somewhat on the fence about this. I would like to make it more readily available, but also consider elementary OS as the target platform.

@kenvandine Thanks for writing the snapcraft.yaml, I would be glad to see a Snap version of the game available regardless of whether it is officially endorsed by upstream. One question though: has it been published to the Snap store yet? I just tried searching for "Warble" in the Snap store and could not find it.

By popular demand, I've published it in the snap store. I'm happy to maintain the snap, @avojak if you ever want to take it over just let me know and I'll happily do that.
