This is the documentation of the Lemmy AutoMod bot. Before proceeding any further, make sure the AutoMod has been succesfully installed on your instance.
Note that for the time being, the AutoMod can only work on local communities.
Example: if the bot has been installed on lemmy.ml, it won't be able to moderate communities hosted on lemm.ee or other instances different from lemmy.ml.
Multiple instances of the AutoMod can coexist on the same Lemmy instance, provided they each have different accounts.
Moderation rules are written in JSON format, as specified in the Moderation page. Various examples of the accepted syntax are available in the lemmy-automoderator-examples repository.
