Supported Platforms Node Versions

The Yeoman generator for Alfresco (generator-alfresco) requires Node between 6.0 and 10.

Generally speaking a modern version of Node should be used. This is for both security and performance reasons.

If you currently have a version of Node that is less than 6, you will need to install a newer version. If you have to install anyway, why not go with the latest and greatest stable version?
