Welcome to the Bluejay wiki!

Bluejay runs on ESCs based on the EFM8 Busy Bee, most notably as an upgrade to the BLHeli_S firmware.

See the settings page for information about Bluejay settings. Check setup on how to configure specific Bluejay features. If you are running into issues, check the FAQ or visit us on Discord.

If you want to know if your specific hardware is supported or want to confirm your hardware working with Bluejay, check the "tested hardware" page.

If your ESC can no longer be read via esc-configurator.com, check the unbricking guide to learn how to recover from a bricked MCU.

Digital protocol (DShot)

Unlike BLHeli_S, Bluejay does not support any traditional analog PWM based protocols.

Currently, DShot is the only supported protocol allowing for a precise and reliable signal as well as modern features such as RPM telemetry.

The following bitrates are supported:

Bitrate ESC Support
150 BB1 (L)
300 BB1 (L), BB2 (H, X)
600 BB2 (H, X)

Development
