The architecture diagram in the README (source at architecture.candidate.drawio) is a bit vague. There's lots more that could be added in there, and it's lacking a high-level description to explain how the architecture basically hangs together.

It would be great if someone could pick this up & present back their updates to the team. It doesn't matter if you don't have time to cover the whole architecture, all contributions are welcome!
