Unblinding
Code used for the unblinding of the analysis. Some highlights are:
- Fits run on UL dataset.
- All the uncertainties are UL and lead to a ~40% improvement w.r.t previous results (especially thanks to electrons).
- Introduced
python3
script to compute the LL ratio between best-fit-values and SM expectations. From this quantity one can infer the pvalue of the measurement, thus assessing the GoF. - The
plotShapes.py
script can now be called with the--uncBand
option to draw 1 and 2 sigma uncertainty bands on the pdfs. - Moved all the inputs of
createXSworkspace.py
to 125.38 GeV - Small bug-fix in 2e2mu
v4
measurement increateXSworkspace.py
- Small bug-fix for
rapidity4l
inRunTemplates.py
Datacard Approval
Version of the framework used to produce the datacards for the analysis pre-approval.
Changes include:
- Framework capable of running all the measurements (See here)
- Automatized measurements with batch submission (HTCondor)
- Possible inclusion of floating backgrounds normalizations
- Possible fit in different mass ranges, e.g. [105, 140] vs [105, 160]
- Structure of the datacards and fits reviewed and validated
Double differential measurements
Complete set of measurements can be produced, now including also double differential ones.

All the observables are included in the skimmers.
Inclusion of ME discriminants, rapidity-weighted jet-veto variables, and usage of UL samples is foreseen for the next release.
HIG-19-001
Framework to run full Run-II analysis and reproduce HIG-19-001 results.
Additional measurements such as mZ1, mZ2 and the various angles are already available in this release.
Preliminary results here.
Framework validation
Framework tested and validated on 2017 data set.
