• The Music Notation Project "The Music Notation Project fosters communication, cooperation, and the exchange of ideas and resources among those interested in alternative music notation systems and similar subjects."
• Lilypond - LilyPond is a music engraving program, devoted to producing the highest-quality sheet music possible. It brings the aesthetics of traditionally engraved music to computer printouts. LilyPond is free software and part of the GNU Project.
• Fastgram an idea that has the same intent to make notes easy to read. I came to know it after designing this. Work in progress : take the best of the two worlds.
