hello, this question is also of interest, how to turn off the screen when the printer does not print and is turned off. |

The display is connected to the 5V pin on the raspberry Pi which cannot be turned off using software. There are hardware solutions using transistors but it is more difficult that googling how to disable the 5V pin on a pi, no offense. |

@sebkouba - It looks like this repo has issues disabled, so @Hates1209 probably posted this PR in lieu of an issue. |
