shoreOrient.m takes x, y and z coordinates of a shoreline, as input file shore.txt and it calculates the alignment and angle of the shoreline with respect to x-axis. Input file shore.txt may contain of larger portion of the shoreline, in shoreOrient.m lower and upper coordinates of area of interest must be specified manually.
