Recap: 3/12/15 Tonight we got together. Sergio tested on Debian - the gui did not load. Also, Users must know that the GUI is not a standalone product. This needs to be installed after respin. It looks for respin as a dependency.
Debian was not working for GUI.
The first attempt showed a need for remastersys depend.
DEPENDS="gparted, xterm, yad, read-edid, xresprobe, remastersys (>= 3.0.0)" FIXED
Next attempt my aicra shows

Next steps - Get respin-gui to work on debian.
Sidenote: adrenaline was in the garage packing for the weekend. Sergio was excited about going to cactuscon. aicra sad about the state of cc… Don is not active. Not an effective PM. Possible restructure?
