This is a loose list of potential features to be found on the site

  • The Guide itself
    • Provides instruction for how to start a group. Initial idea is that you start by inviting one or two people whom you know disagree with you on some substantial issues, but whom you respect and feel you could engage in civil, productive debate. Ideally, these would be people with whom you could still come back to the table after a heated argument. Groups grow by invitation only, and a member can only invite a new member who disagrees with him or her.
    • How to/What to do if...
      • The group starts ganging up on one person
      • Keeping debates productive and respectful
      • Making the group not all about debate, but also about commonalities. The goal after all is creating groups that are loyal to each other.

  • Other ways to seek out opinions and news that don't agree with your ideas
