I could have fixed crypttab after installation but I forgot and my workstation did not boot this morning, because I had added a SSD a couple of weeks ago and since then I only ran update-initramfs yesterday, as part of apk upgrade, and I failed to notice the error message that update-initramfs produces when it can not find the disk as set up in /etc/crypttab.

Having the exact instructions right there will help me avoid this next time I install Chimera.

I’ve tested this by running the command in those instructions, modified to use /dev/sdb2 instead of /dev/sda3 and to append instead of overwriting with >> /etc/crypttab, removed the old entry that used /dev/sdb2, and restarted. The machine booted without issue.
