Release Notes for Version 0.6.1
This software is being released in a "beta" state. This means that
the software may be finicky or unpredictable. Please use this version
but do expect some bumps along the way. Back up your data files frequently!
Fix a program crash for some new users that prevented them from completing the setup wizard.
- Affected users will have to manually delete the CPSdb.script and CPSdb.properties files before trying this update.
- If v0.6 "worked" for you, then do not delete your data files.
- Planting lists have been redesigned to improve readability. Multiple entries of the same crop on the same day (as when seeing different varieties at the same time) will now be grouped together with a summary line showing some information for the while group, as well as for each planting. The notes fields will not be repeated for each variety of the same crop unless they are different.
- Columns being displayed will now be saved between sessions.
- Seeds/rowft (or meter) and seeds/cell now included on applicable planting lists.

Briefly: 1) Make sure Java 1.6 or greater is installed, 2) Open the archive or disk image, 3) Copy the enclosed files to your hard drive, 4) double click on the program file (On Mac: CropPlanning, on Windows: CropPlanning.exe)
