feat: fix consumer misbehaviour e2e-test + fix CLI #2258

Update the consumer misbehaviour e2e-test to work without Hermes and fix a bug in the CLI.

Tested by running locally go run ./tests/e2e/... --tc consumer-misbehaviour.

would be good to have more info in the logs in case this fails here especially in case of timeout and no error
