As an update: it is unclear if we will support RARE, or if rewrites will be expressed in native Eunoia moving forward. There are also some concerns that this style of extension "hardcodes" RARE syntax, whereas it may be better to have a more generic macro system. |

This PR essentially makes ethos accept a variant of the syntax for RARE.
