  1. Public URL
  2. Public URL (from Google Docs)
  3. Private URL (Upload by users)

Document types supported:

pdf,doc,docx,xls,xlsx,ppt,pptx

Document Operations supported:

Previewing, Direct Viewing, Downloading, Uploading

Terms definitions:

  • Previewing: A mini window displaying the document above the document link.
  • Direct Viewing: When user clicks on the document links, the document is opened directly.
  • Downloading: Via the document links, user can download the document to open it.
  • Uploading: User can click on the upload button, pick a file and upload it.

*1 Only Published google docs link has preview panel. Google Docs link shared for editing does not have preview panel.

i.e The below share links does not have preview panel. *1 Android does not have built-in document viewer, and google docs viewer's performance in Android is poor. Document is downloaded and opened in Android by apps like Acrobat Reader or QuickOffice.

*3 Upload from Google Drive is working, while uploading from iCloud Drive is only success in simulator but not at actual IPhone machines.
