Scientist was created, and is maintained by Dayle Rees.

Dayle has held countless roles in the tech industry, and currently works as a Lead Software Engineer for Crowdcube. He's highly involved with the Laravel PHP framework project, and a number of other open source endeavours.

Scientist is based on a library of the same name created by Github.
