Bugs Fixed:

  • Main window hotkey now correctly set to Cmd-Alt-1
  • Main window should now do a better job at remembering the size its set to and returning to that size
  • Main window should no longer resize when deleting a saved session
  • Auto-login issues created in 0.5.3 should be fixed
  • Time Zone syncing issues created in 0.5.3 should be fixed

  • Fixes some cursor issues left unresolved from 0.5.2

Known Issues:

  • RDP6.0 isn't supported. Network level authentication and TLS aren't supported. Server 2008 needs to be configured accordingly
  • This release will not run on OS X 10.4 Tiger. PowerPC support has been officially dropped, although CoRD should still run on PPC
  • On Snow Leopard (or any Mac using Gamma 1.8), drawing will be uneven.

New Features:

  • Much more intuitive and Mac-like interface which replaces the servers window and tab-toolbar with a drawer for saved servers and active sessions and inspector to edit saved servers. This allows for a user customizable toolbar and better server status information. Saved servers can now only be connected to once, and you can stop a pending connection.
  • Windowed and full screen mode. You can now view each session in a different window or view one filling the entire screen. Tab-based view (Unified mode) is still the default
  • Clipboard support: text can now be copied and pasted between active sessions and OS X
  • Most keyboard layouts (and all keys on them) now work. When logging into a new session, Windows' keyboard mapping chosen is based on what keyboard input type you've chosen in Mac OS X's System Preferences.

  • Console session support (for Windows 2003 + servers)
  • Ability to resize connections bigger than your display instead of using scroll bars

  • Memory leaks are largely fixed, meaning that you can disconnect and reconnect without CoRD using large amounts of memory

  • 24-bit color (millions of colors) works properly
