This is a repository dedicated to practicing machine learning through the class ITP 449 -- Applications of Machine Learning. This is a class taken in the Viterbi School of Engineering at the University of Southern California.
This course seeks to give students a solid foundation in machine learning and prepare them for a career in data science. Unlike traditional courses, there is a strong emphasis on career development in the form of open-source contributions, public writing, and informal interviews with data science professionals. By the end of the course students should be ready to attain a data science job.
