Welcome to the AirPark wiki!

What it does

The Airpark module enables players to park any vessel in flight and return to it either later in the current game session or in any other subsequent save. The Airparked condition is persistent across saves. All types of vessels are capable of being Airparked this includes submerged Submarines, Aircraft of any type, Rockets in flight and landed and water craft.

The Module

The Airpark module is adaptable to almost any craft or part, simply add the module to your part to access the current features

    	name = AirPark
	}`

How it works

The Airpark module when activated marks the vessel, regardless of current location or altitude/depth as Landed and freezes the vessel and crew in place. EVA is unaffected and it is possible for Kerbals to walk around on an Airparked vessel.

Usage

Attach the Airpark part located under the command and control tab to use. Toggle Airpark on to freeze vessel in place and mark it as landed to enable vehicle switching and toggle off to resume flight. Enable AutoPark to automatically unpark when attached inactive vessel is within 1.5 km of active vessel and automatically park when greater than 2 km away from the active vessel.

Suggested uses include creation of epic screenshots, in flight refueling, floating bases Kerbals walk on Airparked ballon platform
