I have obtained a full explanation from Kristian Schilling on the Titanium centerpiece geometries. It is in german, so I am paraphrasing here: There were 2 different versions of centerpieces made. The first had 7.15 cm bottomand 12 mm pathlength. This bottom position was only used for the first generation 12 mm centerpieces. It has 2 grooves for the seal. This design was later changed to allow for 3 groves for better sealing. It was used for all pathlength designs from then on. The bottom position had to be shortened to 7.10 cm to accommodate the third groove. Hence, we need the following centerpieces:

  1. Titanium 12 mm, 2 channel, 1st generation, 7.15 cm bottom
  2. Titanium 12 mm, 2 channel, 2nd generation, 7.10 cm bottom
  3. Titanium 3 mm, 2 channel, 2nd generation, 7.10 cm bottom
  4. Titanium 6 mm, 2 channel, 2nd generation, 7.10 cm bottom
