• Problem to Solve: Video can be hard to search, bulky and time consuming. I hesitate to say you can't work with video in Emacs but...
• Dahua uses HTML, CSS, JavaScript animates using still images and tooltips instead of voice .... The tooltips are edititable in a text editor ....
• imagine a version control friendly Reproducable Research workflow in you can work with screencapture ...in Emacs!
• Down sides? ** requires Oracle Java 8 and the GUI annotate is not baked yet you you havfe to do that in a text editor ** Work in progress: The GUI preview button is not working for me so i had to open the index.html file manually

Something to tinker with...

It animated 28 images at 1366x786 for me and the "project" weighs in at 12.2 MB. ....I'm to experiment with leaving it run in a "Time Machine" use case. Maybe it could be useful for review or troubleshooting as well as sharing?
