Using Atom

Install Atom from https://atom.io/
install markdown preview package within Atom - see e.g. https://nearsoft.com/blog/how-to-install-packages-in-atom/
open the markdown file to be edited nad turn on preview, teh right part of the screen shows the markdown file rendered
