This is closer than what CI used in #216 but still not quite right. This is using the Go version from provider/go.mod, so maybe this change is correct? Where did 1.22.6 come from initially?

Converted this to draft since it should not be merged. It exists to test / validate the workflow changes in #219. Those workflow changes are an attempt to remove the Go version drift observed in #216
