For the 6.0 version of tmLQCD we should begin to formalize which issues we absolutely need fixed before we can ship. As a preliminary deadline for a release candidate I would like to propose the 7th of December 2012.

What about trying to finish this by first of April 2013? I would propose we try to have by then

• smearing
• g_gauge_field removed
• global spinor fields removed

Apart from that we are in a quite solid state now! I have started to add issues to this milestone...
