Monitoring

• Checking of targets is done every year
• Checking for cheaters is done every year
• Only ~10% of participants are monitored
• Participants are usually chosen at random
• Known cheaters will have a greater chance of being monitored
• Monitoring tax is taken yearly
• ~ 0.025% of GDP

Sanctioning

• Cheating
• Cheating is sanctioned by removing a % of GDP from availableToSpend
• Cheaters will be added to a naughty list
• Keeps track of number of times cheated, ...
• % of GDP removed will increase for every time participants are caught
• Missing your target
• In the following session, the participant's target will be increased proportionally by % missed
