Requirements

The Requirements for GRS module (Ground Station) for the FloripaSat Project are listed below.

1. The ground station must be able to identify the beacon transmitted by the FloripaSat.

2. The ground station must be able to communicate with the FloripaSat through the TT&C via NGHam protocol.

3. The ground station must be able to decode NGHam and AX.25 packets from the beacon.

4. The ground station must be able to decode NGHam packets from TTC transceiver in telemetry.

5. The ground station must be able to demodulate the beacon and telemetry signal from FloripaSat.

6. The ground station must be able to use GFSK modulation.

7. The ground station must use the USRP B210 SDR to communicate with FloripaSat.

8. The ground station must use the RTL-SDR dongle to receive the beacon data.

9. The beacon should operate on the 144-148 MHz band.

10. The telemetry must operate on the 435-438 MHz band.

11. The ground station must be able to send data at a rate of 2400 bps.

12. The ground station must be able to receive data at a rate of 1200 and 2400 bps.

13. The ground station must be able to switch between transmission and reception on UHF Band.

14. The ground station must be able to track the FloripaSat.

15. The ground station must transmit at least 40 W on telecommand.

16. The ground station must interpret data from TTC, payloads, EPS, gyroscopic, attitude control.

17. The ground station must be able to send telecommand to shutdown the FloripaSat.

18. The ground station reception must be on all the time.

19. The ground station must decode beacon signals in real time.

20. The ground station must decode telemetry signals in real time.

21. The ground station must decode beacon signals offline.

22. The ground station must decode telemetry signals offline.

23. The ground station must be decode signals from another cubesats.

24. The ground station must be decode signals from another radioamateur satélites.

25. The ground station should be licensed by ANATEL.

26. The ground station should be responsible by radioamateur class A.

27. The ground station should be send telecommands when FloripaSat pass on Florianópolis view.
