Thanks for joining this learning journey with us.
This repository documents my journey to getting better at anything by following the first 20 hours challenge. This is not sponsored. You can just check the Ted Talk at this link.
But, this is not just for me. You can also use this repository to document your journey and share it with the world.
Before you start, you need to know the following. Is not a must, but it will help you a lot:
- For you, this challenge must be:
- Difficult enough to be challenging
- Easy enough to be achievable
- Ambitious enough to be interesting
- Small enough to be achievable in 20 hours
- Creative enough to be fun
- Relevant enough to be meaningful
I assure you that if you accomplish this, you will feel proud of yourself and be able to do anything you want.
- Fork this repository
- Clone your forked repository
- Create a new branch
- Create a new folder with the name of the thing you want to learn
- Add a README.md file to that folder
- Write your journey in that file, including your name, the date you started, and the date you finished
- Add your name to the Contributors section in the README.md file
- Commit and push your changes.
- Create a pull request and wait for it to be merged
- Share your journey with the world
You can write your journey in any way you want, but I recommend you to use the following template:
# Your name
# The first 20 hours of -Thing you want to learn-
## Day 1: Time spent
### What I did today. Share your thoughts and the resources you used
### What I learned. Be reflective. Teach a child to try
### What I will do tomorrow. What do you expect to learn/solve?
## Day 2: Time spent
### What I did today
### What I learned
### What I will do tomorrow
## Day 3: Time spent
### What I did today
### What I learned
### What I will do tomorrow
...
## Day N: Time spent
### What I did today
### What I learned
### What I will do tomorrow
Remember to share your progress with the world, and to be proud of yourself. This is the way.
