The Unmanned Aircraft Safety Team is an industry-government partnership committed to ensuring the safe operations of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) in the national airspace system. Now your application can support the safe integration of UAS with data-driven safety enhancements and collaboration amongst members of the UAST.

The process involved with risk analyses starts with public and government information sources gathered into this tool for UAST Working Group triage. All submissions are reviewed. We do not store guest information in order to protect your personally identifiable information. Apply for an API account to submit reports, review possible safety enhancements, and use the realtime features in your projects.

The UAS stakeholders are adopting the same collaborative model as the General Aviation Joint Steering Committee (GAJSC) & Commercial Aviation Safety Team (CAST). Any qualified UTM, LAANC, USS, Remote ID USS, or similar aerospace information system may access the API free.

About The Team: FAA Administrator Michael Huerta announced the formation of the team on August 2, 2016. Administrator Huerta committed that the FAA would work with stakeholders to charter a team to address safety issues related to the increasing number of UAS operations. Join the UAST membership and the FAA’s UAS Integration Office to make drone flight safer by reporting incidents to the industry anonymously or participate on the team with the API toolset for long term integration into your product or service.
