I have chosen the unicode character because you have the warning icon correctly displayed if you open the file using nano or vim. |

But it displays as shit in github. It's supposed to catch attention at first read. |

I think people will notice it, it's literally written "if that doesn't work". And it's after the guide steps not before so people will read the steps before noticing the warning icon anyway. |
