So I'm not sure what you'd like me to do with this? You've obviously put a lot of effort into this PR, but there's no description and there are rather a lot of substantial changes.

It looks like you're planning on releasing an updated version of the plugin, which I've got no real problem with since I stopped using it several years ago. Likewise I don't really plan on working more on it since I no longer regularly do any java development.

Would you prefer if I try and find out from Jetbrains how I could go about transferring the plugin over to you completely?

Hey! Didn't notice I opened the PR when forking (whoops); my goal was indeed to release an updated version of the plugin (with attribution of your work, of course) :) Which is now maintained on my fork. Sorry about the noise, and thanks for confirming you're okay with me doing this!
If you don't mind, transferring the plugin could be nice, so that I can update it directly which should give more visibility for users.
