Motivation
In #5741 , I introduce the ability to load any models, dequant them internally, merge (with
float
) and re-quant it as output.The dequant part is trivial by using
llama_convert_tensor_internal
, but re-quant part with multi-thread is tricky because the code is baked intollama_model_quantize_internal
